Up until a few years ago we allowed any and all potential customers to come to our home .
We were not shy not did we hide a thing .
Through the years of this and there were many we began to see we had to stop for several reasons .
First and foremost the health of our puppies .We were lucky in alot of ways because we never had any to come down with parvo or other illnesses from visitors but we screened our visitors to the best of our ability to help make that happen .
However ,after alot of instances like the ones below ,the fact that our customers were more and more strangers from other states and because our vet was constantly on our case about it and our health also ,we stopped and now meet at our vet .
Here below are examples of why Poos4u no longer allows home visitors ....
We love kids ,we respect anyone 's right in their own home to let their children do what the parent says they can or lets them do ,however all children should be taught the difference in that home and another persons home ...
We had visitors that stood , watched and smiled as their children used our sofa for a trampoline ,climbed on the back and jumped off ,did flips over chairs ,ran and bumped into whatnots and rolled our stuff across the floor as if it did not exist except for their pleasure .
We had children kick the walls ,doors ,try to kick our puppies ,temper tantrums and more ...
We had adults that had a 9 am appointment and was still there at 5 pm ...never taking the hints and there were many that they had to leave ..
We had adults just to suddenly show up to go through the puppies to see if they even wanted one and I didn't even have to be at home ..One was almost in my home when I came home one day ..
We had people to show up in the middle of the night ,before we got up in the mornings ,to pocket things that did not belong to them and so we decided that was enough .
Through the years our home became less and less a home .Strangers ,most very nice and those became our customers ,but some not so nice .. and it became an ordeal ...and we had no life .
So ,now we do appointment only and meet at the vet .It is not that we never offer hospitality to anyone ,we do at times ,it is just we have to go to the vet anyway ,so why not meet there ?
This ole house is our home .We would very much like to keep it that way ..Thanks ..
